Original lava lamp from the USSR, manufactured in the 1970s. The lamp is entirely original and functional, in perfect condition. The cord and plug are in excellent condition, and all screws on the lamp and rubber feet are original. There is an engraving on the lamp that says “To Grisha and Olga on their birthday. Rezikov-Cherepenko (surname). 1971.”

The liquid in the lamp is yellow, which is intentionally done and not a result of water cloudiness as in other lamps. Please note, that the lamp needs about 1 hour to fully heat the wax and start flowing.

• Wire conducts electricity whether it is 110 volt or 220 volt – wire doesn’t discriminate. So long as you use a bulb purchased in the US (made for 110-volt usage), you don’t have to worry about the voltage difference.

Electrical appliances may require a voltage adapter for use. These are inexpensive and very widely available. The lamps’ and lights’ functionality have been tested on European mains electricity supply only.
